Trying to improve my rendering of materials. I'm happy with how plastic and metal looks in this style and I'm transitioning to a more sketch-y style with new pencil brushes. Far better than the flat color rendition of the DOOM floppies artwork in published art. Not published as it's just practice. Made with Krita's default pencil brushes.

This is a piece of concept art that was meant to resemble some dark streets of WW2 Paris. This scene was meant to feature a battle with the French Resistance down the street. I think it looks fine but it was scrapped due to the overall style not at all resembling 1940's French style. This was made in Krita with some custom sketch brushes.

This was a purely watercolor piece with a heavy wash. It was not posted as I'm personally not a huge fan of watercolor, but I do think the landscape looks good for being my first real purely watercolor piece. This was made in Krita with the default watercolor brushes.

This was my first piece of digital art but it was never posted anywhere. I talk about this piece somewhat in my About Me > Art page. This depicts the character Pandemonica from the video game Helltaker. It's rough and very sketchy, but I'm still somewhat proud of it and gave me the enthusiasm to pursue digital art further. This was created in GIMP just using the basic paintbrush tool if I remember correctly.
